Hello!!
My name is Charlotte Hobson, and I’m a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder pursuing a B.S. in Strategic Communication with an emphasis in Advertising Strategy and a minor in Business. I am originally from Los Angeles and spent my first year of college at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA, before transferring to CU Boulder, where I found an environment that felt like a better fit for me. I approach every project with creativity, flexibility, and a genuine enthusiasm for creating connections.
My academic experiences have strengthened my communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to authenticity. Beyond the classroom, my background in retail, hospitality, and coaching has shaped me into a resourceful, proactive, and adaptable professional who thrives in dynamic environments.
For over ten years, I played club volleyball and competed at the Division I level at Bucknell University, these experiences taught me teamwork, leadership, and perseverance both on and off the court.
Currently, I serve as a Transfer Peer Leader at the University of Colorado Boulder, where I support incoming transfer students as they adjust to campus life. In this role, I provide mentorship, answer questions, and help new students navigate academic and social opportunities, further developing my communication and leadership skills.
When I’m not studying or working, you’ll likely find me outdoors, spending quality time with family, friends, and my cat, or trying something new that keeps me active and inspired. I’m always excited to learn from others and contribute to positive, creative team cultures wherever I go.
